Chanel Welcomes Nicole Kidman Back as Global Face of the Brand
Nicole Kidman is back where she belongs: front and center for Chanel!
The Academy Award-winning actress and six-time Golden Globe victor has stepped into a new chapter with the house, this time not just for a fragrance campaign, but as the official ambassador representing the iconic maison itself.

Kidman’s association with Chanel began in 2003 with a No. 5 campaign directed by Baz Luhrmann, a collaboration that lasted five years. Over time, she’s become synonymous with the brand on the red carpet, effortlessly channeling the house’s elegance.
Beyond her cinematic achievements, Kidman is a UN Women Goodwill Ambassador and a staunch advocate for women in cinema, famously pledging in 2017 to work with a female director every 18 months — a promise she has more than kept.
On her return, Kidman shared her excitement:

“I am thrilled to be joining Chanel as it begins its new chapter with Matthieu at the helm. Haute couture has always fascinated me, and I can’t wait to see Matthieu’s vision for the oldest house still in operation, and to wear creations I know will be stunning. Chanel has always shone a smart and gracious light on women, and I’m confident Matthieu will continue that legacy.”
Chanel’s new creative director, Matthieu Blazy, called Kidman “the embodiment of the Chanel woman,” citing their past collaborations and her red carpet history with the house. “Free, ever-changing, and timeless- Nicole has always been part of Chanel’s story. Reuniting with her now is a dream,” he said.

Kidman attended Chanel’s Spring–Summer 2026 show in Paris, marking Blazy’s first collection debut, while earlier this year she was named global ambassador for Clé de Peau Beauté.
It’s a reunion that feels less like a comeback and more like destiny: a seamless blend of cinematic allure and haute couture heritage.
