Met Monday finally arrived after a two-year long wait. With some scene-stealing celebrity looks, the Met Gala 2022’s dress code ‘Gilded Glamour’ ensured this was the most talked-about event. Championing the 80’s corset and amping up the bling with exquisite couture, designers such as Louis Vuitton, Moschino, Versace, and Burberry dressed the leading stars in the industry. Kim Kardashian’s controversial look caught everyone’s eye as the most expensive dress in the world, the Marilyn Monroe dress worth a jaw-dropping 38 crore. But what truly won everyone’s heart was Blake Lively’s colour changing Versace gown. Within minutes, the glamourous outfit turned turquoise in colour. 
Gucci to accept payment in cryptocurrencies in the U.S.

Luxury house, Gucci announced that it will now accept payments in cryptocurrencies in the U.S. starting this month. With this bold move, Gucci is the newest brand to make its stride into a  digital-based economy. ⁠Various digital assets including bitcoins, bitcoin cash, dogecoin and Shiba Inu will be accepted. So far Rodeo Drive in Los Angeles, Wooster Street in New York and in Las Vegas will begin accepting cryptocurrencies next month.
The India Art Fair brought to the forefront an array of new young artists

With the biggest art fair in the city coming to a close on May 2, the India Art Fair gave a chance to many young and rising artists to showcase their work. From artistic installation to experimenting with an array of art materials, as soon as you entered the premises you were transported into the whimsical world of art The large platform even had a Young Collector’s Weekend for all art enthusiasts. Some of the biggest names in the fashion industry were spotted at the event including Rahul Mishra, Ritu Beri, Shalini Passi and more.

Destination shows are finally back! After Emilio Pucci’s show in Capri, haute couture label, Chanel unveiled its resort wear line in the stunning city of Monte-Carlo. Set amidst a serene beachside location, the collection by Virginie Viard takes inspiration from the cosmopolitan beach lifestyle of Monte-Carlo. The pieces from the collection reveal sophisticated silhouettes where beachside sportswear echoes a modern glamour. Black, red, pink and white were the standout colour preferences.
1967 London Cartier Crash Just Became The Costliest Crash Ever Auctioned for $1.5 million

The Cartier London Crash from 1967 was auctioned at Loupe for a whopping USD1,503,880, making it the most expensive watch sold at auction. Constructed of 18kt yellow gold with its signature London-signed Cartier dial features black Roman numerals and blue steel hands.

Inspired by his childhood and his desire to help others, Will.i.am took a Mercedes-AMG and made it his very own unique masterpiece. The car is based on the AMG GT 4-Door Coupé, influenced by design elements of the Mercedes-AMG G-Class and the legendary SLS Gullwing.
The mission of this joint project is to give more students from disadvantaged communities access to STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and math) education in order to be equipped with the skills required for future-focused jobs and to invent new technologies.
