Qatar Airways is known for luxury travel. It made a splash with the debut of its second Al Mourjan Lounge at Doha Hamad in April, with a 7,000 sqm space dubbed The Garden. But, there’s an adjacent lounge within a lounge created in collaboration with fashion house Louis Vuitton. Being the brand’s first-ever venture in the travel space, the lounge offers luxury amenities, Michelin Star food and a personal butler, amongst other things.

Perched atop the Louis Vuitton retail store in Qatar Duty-Free, this is the world’s first and only Louis Vuitton Lounge. Qatar Airways First and Business Class travellers will have access to this lounge on their next vacation. In addition, it welcomes Louis Vuitton VIPs, in addition to lounge-worthy guests of the Al Mourjan. Officially known as the ‘Louis Vuitton Lounge by Yannick Alléno’ – named after the 16-star Michelin chef – the space is accessed via an elevator at the rear end of the duty-free. Louis Vuitton’s new airport lounge is surrounded by a garden called The Orchard and is the brand’s ninth culinary project since 2020.

Passengers at Al Mourjan Business Lounge – The Garden will get to experience a unique dining and hospitality offering, with a menu specially curated by renowned Michelin-star Chef Yannick Alléno. On the extensive menu, you can find soups, salads and hot sandwiches, as well as sushi and caviar. There are also larger items representing Alléno’s distinct approach to cuisine, such as langoustine carpaccio with geranium essence, confit lamb shoulder flavoured with yuzu and pilaf rice with dried fruit and spices. The multilingual concept menu highlights local ingredients, French favourites and international fare, along with dishes for various palettes and dietary needs.

The bar’s interiors feature golden chairs and serve premium spirits like Veuve Champagne and a curated list of mocktails.
Louis Vuitton’s new airport lounge isn’t merely a space to wait for your flight; it’s a true VIP experience. Every detail, from the monogrammed furniture to the curated art pieces, exudes a sense of luxury that is distinctly Louis Vuitton. With its textured banquettes and mosaic floor, Louis Vuitton aims to elevate the overall experience for its patrons. With a view of our tropical indoor garden Orchard, the new lounge is the latest luxury instalment for travellers transferring at Hamad International Airport.
