Louis Vuitton opens a chocolate store in Shanghai

Louis Vuitton will open its first chocolate store in China at Shanghai’s Taikoo Li Qiantan shopping mall in early August. This will be the third branch of Le Chocolat Maxime Frédéric for the luxury brand. The other two branches are located within LV Dream in Paris and at Singapore’s Marina Bay Sands. The chocolate shop will have interiors that create a tropical garden ambience and will feature a floor-to-ceiling wooden trunk display section. The shop will also showcase the Vivienne mascot and its pet lion, The Petula, in various scenes, completing the playful setting.

Akhil Shrivastava is the new executive vice president and CFO of Estée Lauder

Akhil Shrivastava has been appointed executive vice president and CFO, for Estée Lauder Companies. Shrivastava will report to William P. With a strong background in financial leadership, Shrivastava is expected to bring fresh perspectives and strategic direction to the iconic beauty brand. This move underscores Estée Lauder’s commitment to strengthening its executive team amid a dynamic market landscape. “With its leading portfolio of iconic brands, extensive global reach, and impressively talented people, I am honoured to lead the Global Finance team,” said Akhil Shrivastava. “I look forward to helping to advance the Company’s multiple engines of growth to rebuild stronger, more sustainable profitability and support sales growth acceleration across brands, product categories, and regions while evolving the business for the future.”
