So what gives the watch its exorbitant price tag? According to Bloomberg The Meta CEO was seen wearing a rare Greubel Forsey ‘Hand Made 1’ watch which is exceptionally rare. According to Bloomberg, the Greubel Forsey Hand Made 1 is not just a luxury watch but a masterpiece of horology. Only two or three such watches are produced annually, making it one of the most exclusive timepieces available. Its intricate design and painstaking manual assembly set it apart, each of which takes about 6,000 hours to assemble.
Each watch is assembled and finished almost entirely by hand, requiring hundreds of hours of labour to perfect its intricate design. Hence making it a highly coveted piece. Greubel Forsey CEO Michel Nydegger told Bloomberg, “It’s a pleasure to see someone who has played such a pivotal role in shaping the modern digital landscape and lifestyle show true appreciation for the most traditional approach to fine watchmaking today.”

In the recent past, Mark Zuckerberg has been spotted wearing a diverse array of Swiss watches.
