The GT4 is an entry-level GT road model from the German carmaker while the Spyder is geared towards open-top, dynamic driving on curvy routes.
Ashish Kaul, Head of Sales, Porsche India, said, “These cars are about unrivalled driving fun and sheer emotions. They are the perfect sports cars for those who like to push the limits and enjoy a racing pulse. With a limited allocation for our market, the 718 Cayman GT4 and 718 Spyder will be a rare and very special sight on our streets.”

Both these powerful beasts have improved aerodynamics, which produces up to 50 per cent more downforce without affecting drag. The fixed rear wing is a visual highlight, that also produces around 20 per cent more downforce, as compared to its predecessors.
Spyder is distinguished by a lightweight convertible top that provides a dramatic silhouette. With its superior cornering dynamics, it provides a powerful driving experience through refined, lightweight spring-strut front and rear axles that use racing technologies. The Porsche Active Suspension Management damping system lowers the ride height by 30 mm, which also lowers the car’s centre of gravity and improves its lateral dynamics potential. It has been designed primarily for the racetrack and sharpens the overall handling characteristics of both models.
The new Porsche 718 Spyder is priced at around INR 15,993,000 and the 718 Cayman GT4 starts at INR 16,335,000.
