Swiss luxury watcher maker TAG Heuer has launched a limited edition Carrera Red-Dial, TAG Heuer’s new timepiece. The watch pays homage to Jack Heuer’s iconic model from the 1960s. Owing to the name, the timepiece has a shocking crimson dial, and houses a Calibre Heuer 02. It is limited to a mere 600 pieces, making the watch a true collector’s piece.

Retaining the perfect proportions of the original 1964 Heuer 2447S’s 39mm steel case, this timepiece breathes new energy into its longstanding heritage. Melding vibrance and sophistication, the Carrera Red-Dial Limited Edition embodies the sporty and elegant spirit of the TAG Heuer Carrera.

The watch boasts of faceted, rhodium-plated indexes and hour and minute hands, with Super-LumiNova coating for maximal clarity. The Super-LumiNova with a glow-in-the-dark feature allows you to keep a track of time even in the dark. With a 39 mm dial, the case is made of stainless steel and is water resistant up to 100 meters. But what makes this a true masterpiece is an automated TAG-special Calibre Heuer 02 with a power reserve of 80 hours. The Calibre Heuer 02 Automatic movement offers on-the-go precision and performance.

What’s more? There is a Carrera red lug near 12 o’clock on the case back, and the watch back has ‘Limited Edition’ and ‘One of 600’ engraved on the rear. The Carrera Red-Dial Limited Edition arrives on a black alligator strap with a steel folding clasp, which features double safety push buttons and the Heuer logo.
