This beautiful home in Lucknow has been designed in the French classical way—a statement of luxury without compromising on the feeling of warmth and cosiness.
Designed by 42mm Architecture, this residential project is spectacular.
The three-storey home has a double-height entrance foyer, drawing room, dining room, kitchen, three living rooms (one on each floor), two study rooms, puja room, a set of six master bedrooms with a dresser, home theatre, gym cum massage room and servants’ quarters.
This palatial home’s entrance has a wrought iron door with motifs finished in gold leaves. The use of gold was intrinsic to the design as it preserves the shine.
The entrance hall extends to teh central foyer, which is essentially the heart of the house.
The central foyer is embroidered with an exquisite stone rug and a unique glass installation deriving inspiration from ‘dancing leaves’.
Leaves are set in space randomly and oscillate recreating the experience of ‘blowing wind’ through the central lobby.
Its light-filled gallery features a stone mosaic inlay border, stained glass panel and ornately carved consoles.
The living room connects to the entrance hall through symmetrical placed French doors and the rich velvet upholstered indigo blue chairs there are eye-catchy.
This serves as a focal point, directing the attention to a large frame antique painting, a possession of the family’s lineage.
There’s also a glamorous gilt crystal Barovier & Toso chandelier that makes the space look more elegant.
The dining room has both, a bit modern and classical.
Characterised by polished marble floors, decorative ceiling and ornately carved furniture, the home is beautiful.
The use of stone, mouldings and carvings makes it look like a luxury hotel.
