Where to eat in Delhi NCR this month
As our collective favourite season approaches (with its best plot twists yet), the last quarter of the year is making sure Delhi NCR has no dearth of new restaurants, fun pop-ups and tables to book. Whether you’ve to plan a date, brunch with the girls, or just enjoy a day out with your company & some finger-licking food, here’s where to dine this month.
SELVA, Aerocity

SELVA introduces a new chapter in Mexican dining for India, moving beyond the familiar tacos-and-tequila template with a deeply researched, design-led take on contemporary Mexican and Nikkei cuisine. Expect Oaxaca’s crisp Tlayuda, nori-wrapped tacos, open-flame tatemado, citrus-cured ceviches in leche de tigre, tiraditos, house-made tortillas, robata-fired seafood and meats, and sushi-led plates. After dark, the restaurant transforms into Selva Maya, a cocktail den inspired by Mesoamerican mythology with a drinks programme drawing from Amazonian botanicals, native fruits, cacao, peppers and spices, with techniques ranging from sous vide infusion and enzyme clarification to fat washing and freeze filtration.
Dodicci, Chanakyapuri

Dodicci, a new European dining house at The Ashoka Hotel takes an Italian-led approach that travels beyond borders. Its name, Italian for twelve, inspires a cast of twelve imagined residents, each reflected in a signature cocktail, while the menu moves from hand-rolled pastas and pizzas to Poulet Rôti, Spanish croquettes, Brazilian tapioca parmesan and lemon meringue tart. Leading the kitchen is Le Cordon Bleu, Paris graduate Chef Gurdev, whose experience at two-Michelin-starred Le Taillevent, alongside Chef Inaki Aizpitarte at Le Chateaubriand and across Paris, Saint-Tropez and Veneto, informs her intuitive, convention-defying style.
TABLE by Tatva Hills, Mehrauli

TABLE by Tatva Hills is a newly opened 25-seater neighbourhood dining spot that’s built around a farm-to-table approach with a menu that changes with the seasons. Mornings begin with freshly baked sourdough, good coffee, botanical breakfast bowls; while lunch and dinner feature some good handmade pastas, seasonal pizzettes, salads and plates built around what is freshest.
New menus & pop-ups:
Limited Edition Cocktail Menu at Mr Button

Celebrating its first anniversary, Mr Button has launched a limited-edition cocktail collection inspired by dishes, destinations and culinary memories. The lineup begins with Tom Yum, inspired by an off-season downpour outside Bangkok’s Sampeng Market, where Button ordered the dish being enjoyed by a fellow diner. Then comes Sushi-Tini that takes its inspiration from a six-seat sushi counter in Shibuya, followed by Napoli, where a conversation that began with lapels and jacket lengths eventually found its way to the celebrated Antica Pizzeria da Michele. Ending on a sweeter note, PB&J draws from America’s much-loved peanut butter and jam pairing.
The Traveller’s Menu at Tranzit

Tranzit’s traveller menu, divided into four routes – Sea, Air, Train and Road takes the idea of travel and runs with it. There’s unexpected combinations of yuzu butter, gari, kombucha, raw turmeric, bastenga, mishti doi and BBQ butter, with each cocktail carrying its own story. 15905 draws from the Vivek Express, India’s longest train journey, bringing flavours from its 4,600-kilometre route to the glass; Lost at the Sea reimagines the classic cola-and-rum pairing with pineapple and tender coconut kombucha; while Champion’s Breaky turns childhood milk coffee, bananas and Bournvita into an indulgent adult pour. The journey continues at Tranzit’s intimate Omakase Bar, led by Bar Head Jaydeep, where guests can hand over the reins and let the bar guide them through an ever-evolving sequence of unusual flavours, techniques and a little bit of theatre.
