Luxury meets elegance at Falguni Shane Peacock’s new Hyderabad store

Designer label Falguni Shane Peacock opened its first flagship store in Hyderabad.
The new store was designed by celebrity interior designer Gauri Khan, her first design project in Hyderabad. Located in Hyderabad’s commercial Banjara Hills district, the new flagship store is spread over 6,500 sq. ft.
The spectacular structure, replete with a colossal antique chandelier and customized décor in neutral tones has a classic, opulent aesthetic.
“Hyderabad is an important market for us, and we always wanted to have a store in Banjara Hills. After a search of almost two years, when we saw the place, we fell in love with the location. We knew we could bring our vision to life, with a design destination that mirrors our label’s aesthetics,” said Falguni Peacock.
A walk inside
Borrowing Khan’s contemporary design sensibilities, the store captures Falguni Shane Peacock’s luxury aesthetics, creating a wonderful amalgamation of the two.
A neutral backdrop in earthy hues of beige, powder pink and nude envelops the interiors with speckles of gold to match the grandeur of the outfits. The minimal palette of colours is a great way to keep the focus on beautiful designer outfits.
Falguni Shane Peacock’s signature styles make appearances throughout the store. From signature style feather cushions and rugs to brass peacock motifs and monogrammed walls, each appearing in the most subtle forms. Glass and crystal elements add to the grandeur in a very minimalistic form like the statement chandelier near the entrance and glass doors surrounding the lounge area.
Gauri’s vision for the store was executed by Vasundhara Sampath of Philosophy Design Studio and Sanjeevitha Bhagwath of PMC – The Workz.
“While designing, it was important for me to make the space functional and not imposing. It is the product that is most important, and that should stand out. The idea is that when a client walks into the store, they should completely wipe it out. I love how the store has achieved it all,” says Khan.

Known to blend intricate western cuts with Indian motifs and elements, Falguni Shane Peacock has gradually reinforced its place as the leading luxury couturier in the country.
The designer label has dressed both Indian and international celebrities like Beyonce, Madonna, Britney Spears, Katy Perry, Nicole Scherzinger, Cheryl Cole, Kim Kardashian, Nicki Minaj, Paris Hilton, Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez, Lady Gaga among others.
The new store houses the label’s signature couture gowns, bridal wear, and saris along with a limited edition of occasion wear for men.
