Taylor Swift’s red carpet looks have been nothing, if not glamourous. This year alone, the singer has been experimenting with plenty of bling and shimmer. Take, for example, this stunning diamond and jewel-encrusted Oscar de la Renta mini dress that she wore to the VMAs earlier this year.

And while we absolutely love this look, it was Swift’s ensemble at the MTV Europe Music Awards that we cannot stop gushing over. Dressed in a David Koma ensemble, Swift wore a black bodysuit fixed with a bold caged skirt adorned with emeralds. The dress was an obvious shoutout to her hit “Bejeweled.”

It features a halterneck with an open back and cinched waist design. The dress is generously covered in decorative silver crystal embellishments, stitched on a mesh fabric to create a smooth appearance rather than a contrasting tone.
Another one of this year’s hottest trends is the hot pink shade popularised by Valentino in his Autumn/Winter ’22 collection. Among them was this masterpiece which he considered a ‘manifestation of the unconscious and a liberation from the need for realism.’ Made from a blend of silk and wool, this short-sleeve mini dress features a lurex-detailed jacquard design embellished with shimmering sequins and waist darts.
