A very lavish restaurant in Dubai, Bombay Borough is known for its delectable Indian contemporary cuisine. However, one item on their menu that is sure to catch your attention is their special gold biryani.
A biryani lover’s dream, this gold-covered biryani is priced at 1,000 dinars, which roughly converts to Rs 20,000. Served on a large golden plate, the biryani consists of about three kilos of rice, available in three variations including Chicken Biryani Rice, Keema Rice, and White and Saffron rice. This is then topped with baby potatoes and boiled eggs. The dish also comes with Mughlai koftas.

The chicken selections on the platter include tender cooked Malai chicken, Rajputana Murgh Sula and Chicken meatballs. Other than chicken, the platter also comprises lamb chops and lamb seekh kebab garnished with mint, pomegranate, roasted cashews and fried onions.
Served on the side of this humongous biryani are a variety of sauces, curries and raitas like the Nihari Salan, Jodhpuri Salan, Badami sauce topped with almonds, and pomegranate Raita.
Finally, the dish is garnished with 23-karat edible gold, giving it a royal, extravagant appeal.
