Bacchanalia is more than a mere restaurant; it is a place to feel immersed. From the moment you step through the door, every sense is called upon, every detail is artfully curated.
At Bacchanalia, the Mediterranean’s finest ingredients are given centre-stage and finished theatrically at the table. Each of the legendary dishes is elevated, and Greco-Roman classics are reimagined for the modern palate.

The interiors are grand and glorious with hand-painted ceiling murals and 2,000-year-old Greek and Roman artworks.  Breath-taking interiors by Martin Brudnizki Design Studio bring the restaurant to life and classical myths are retold through a modern palette. The dramatic artworks by Damien Hirst soar over the dining area while complemented with antique sculptures. In short,  it is reminiscent of those found in Greece and Italy.

It’s not just the interiors that are destined to impress but also the fact that it is helmed by internationally renowned chef Athinagoras Kostakos. He brings Bacchanalia’s story to life with a menu inspired by Greek and Italian cuisine. From mountain herbs to artisan cheeses, and sun-ripened produce to fresh seafood including crab salad and sea bream carpaccio. Dishes will be finished at the table adding a touch of theatrics to the feast. You can also opt for sharing dishes such as risotto Nero for three and turbot for two.

The restaurant’s wine list is also grand and features over 650 wines from Greece, Italy, France and more. This makes it the only restaurant in London to feature 25 Italian 100-point wines. Further, it also has a dedicated private dining room, Artemis, which is named after Bacchus’ secretive sister, Artemis. With seating for up to 20, the room can accommodate a total of 40 guests making it ideal for an intimate gathering.
