One of the biggest players in the spirits world, and the wine and spirits arm of LVMH, Moët Hennessy has just opened its first cocktail bar in Paris. And we cannot be more excited!

“A true hidden gem, Cravan builds on Moët Hennessy’s Maisons’ decades of knowledge in crafting incredible experiences for consumers across the world,” the company said in a statement.
Calling it Cravan, the new cocktail bar by Moët Hennessy is located in the prestigious neighbourhood of Saint-Germain-des-Prés. The building was named after the celebrated writer Arthur Cravan with the first Cravan having been opened in the 16th arrondissement back in 2018. The new Cravan in Saint-Germain-des-Prés was developed in collaboration with Franck Audoux, the creator of the original Cravan, co-founder of neo-bistro Le Chateaubriand and a cocktail expert.

The five-floor bar sits inside a charming 17th-century building reimagined by Belgian designer Ramy Fischler. Each of the five floors reflects an aesthetic inspired by distinct forms of art, fashion, cinema and literature.
Cravan is said to comprise not one but three different cocktail bars inside the building along with a Rizzoli bookstore, a private invite-only atelier, and a mini Parisian kiosk on the rooftop where guests can enjoy movie screenings on warm summer evenings.

“I am delighted to start welcoming our guests at the heart of a historical literary neighbourhood of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, inviting them to step into the unique and singular universe of Cravan,” Philippe Schaus, Chairman and CEO of Moët Hennessy said. “Celebrating epicureanism through a sustainable, lasting, and inspired approach of hospitality, Cravan is a strategic milestone in Moët Hennessy’s ambition to lead the future of luxury wines and spirits.”
