Cocoon Fine Rugs collaborates with Keith Pillow of DAAA Haus Group

Cocoon Fine Rugs, one of the premier carpet brands in India helmed by Ayush Choudhary will mark its tenth-year anniversary on February 26. To celebrate this feat, the brand has announced a collaboration with DAAA Haus Group, which has its outlets in Malta, Sicily and Milan. Together, they will unveil a collection of jointly produced rugs that bring out the signature styles of both the labels.

The event, in Mumbai, will be attended by Keith Pillow, Founder and Creative Director of the DAAA Haus group.

The latest collection is based on the works of abstract expressionist James Vella Clark and is inspired by the landscapes of Malta. The carpet brand is renowned for its modern designs that are a unique interpretation of classic Persian rugs and are produced using the finest raw materials. Its flagship galleries in Mumbai, Bangalore and Kolkata offer the clients an interesting browsing experience owing to their tastefully designed environs and the range of carpets, each of which narrate a story.

This collaboration is along the lines of the carpet company’s previous collaborations with various designers such as Varun Bahl, Rooshad Shroff, Ashiesh Shah and JJ Valaya. The fact that their products are housed by some reputed names in the industry like Shilpa Shetty, Jacqueline Fernandez and Karan Johar stands to be a testament to their product’s quality and finesse.

Keith, who manages the international day to day business, client relations, and creative direction of an international team of over 30 young professionals founded DAAA Haus Ltd in Malta in 2009. The company’s name is an acronym for Design Art & Architecture Associates which explores new frontiers through innovative design, by mixing new technology practices in a multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural environment. Back in 2015, the Malta based company undertook the restoration of seven new state rooms at the Presidential San Anton Palace of Malta. It was designed three months prior to the Queen’s visit for the Commonwealth meeting of 2015. Today, the Palace is also one of Malta’s national facades, welcoming everyone from Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II to dignitaries and Prime Ministers.
