Around the world in 27 days with The Q Odyssey

The Q Experiences is rewriting the rulebook for high-end travel with The Q Odyssey, a 27-day private jet journey across six continents. Founder and CEO Vasim Shaikh envisions it as an expedition designed for those who value rare experiences over routine itineraries.

With only 48 seats available, the journey launches on November 17, 2024, and starts and ends in India—making it the first of its kind to do so. The itinerary spans cultural deep dives, outdoor exploration, and remote destinations, all with the convenience of a chartered Boeing 757. “Our Indian guests love to be pampered, and we love pampering them,” says Shaikh.

The aircraft is designed for maximum comfort, featuring lie-flat first-class seats, an in-flight menu curated by Indian chef Vicky Ratnani, and an open bar stocked with fine wines. High-speed internet, personalised entertainment, and seamless visa and customs arrangements ensure a hassle-free journey. Smooth customs and immigration upon landing at private jet terminals, personalised dietary accommodations, luggage handling, and visa facilitation are all meticulously managed, ensuring travellers can focus solely on the experience.

This experience comes with a price tag of $135,000 per traveller and $145,000 for solo adventurers—an investment in access to places few will ever see, with every detail handled to perfection. As the first company to organise private jet trips to both Antarctica and the Arctic, The Q Experiences is positioning itself at the forefront of ultra-exclusive travel.

The route itself is packed with once-in-a-lifetime moments. In Africa, guests will take in the thunderous Victoria Falls, ride a luxury train through Pretoria, and go on safari in Hwange National Park. The Middle East leg stops in Saudi Arabia’s Al Ula, where ancient sandstone canyons create a surreal desert landscape. Then, it’s on to Norway’s Lofoten Islands for a front-row seat to the Northern Lights.

From there, the journey weaves through the Americas, with hot air ballooning over Mexico’s Teotihuacan Pyramids and a private dining experience on Bolivia’s Salar De Uyuni, the world’s largest salt flat. In the Pacific, guests will unwind in the turquoise waters of Tahiti before heading to Japan for an immersive cultural experience in Kyoto.

Following its debut, The Q Experiences plans to expand its portfolio with annual private jet expeditions, including Round the World tours and African safaris. While details remain under wraps, Shaikh hints at more ambitious itineraries ahead, teasing destinations and experiences so exclusive that even the most seasoned travellers will find themselves in uncharted territory.
