Luxury Fashion Collaborations of 2025
2025 has shown that fashion isn’t just about dressing well- it’s about brand strategy, storytelling, art-market clout,(a little bit of bravado) and yes, making collectors nervously refresh their browsers.
Supreme reunited with Damien Hirst, reminding us that streetwear can be a canvas. Balenciaga transformed Puma’s Speedcat into a high-fashion statement, and Louis Vuitton invited Takashi Murakami back into the spotlight for a 20-year anniversary re-edition. Read on for a round-up.
Supreme x Damien Hirst: Art Meets Streetwear
In a striking fusion of contemporary art and streetwear, Supreme has once again partnered with British artist Damien Hirst for its Spring/Summer 2025 collection. This collaboration marks their reunion after 16 years, bringing Hirst’s iconic works to the forefront of fashion. The collection features bold prints of Hirst’s renowned pieces, including “The Physical Impossibility of Death in the Mind of Someone Living” and “Black Sheep with Golden Horns,” emblazoned across Supreme’s signature hoodies, puffer jackets, T-shirts, and skate decks. The collaboration has been met with critical acclaim, solidifying its place among the most significant fashion partnerships of the year.

Balenciaga x Puma: A High-Fashion Revival
Balenciaga’s collaboration with Puma, launched in June 2025, reimagines the classic Speedcat sneaker with a high-fashion twist. Originally designed as a Formula 1 racing shoe in 1999, the Speedcat has been transformed by Balenciaga’s creative director Demna into a distressed, luxury version. The “Destroyed Speedcat” features a worn-out aesthetic, with a cut-off Formstrip and a pliable, sock-like feel, retailing at $685. This bold reinterpretation has sparked discussions in the fashion community, with some praising the innovative design and others questioning the pricing. Regardless, the collaboration has made a significant impact, blending technical sportswear with high-fashion elements.

Louis Vuitton x Takashi Murakami: A 20-Year Celebration
Louis Vuitton has celebrated the 20th anniversary of its iconic collaboration with Japanese artist Takashi Murakami by launching a re-edition collection in early 2025. The collection revisits the vibrant “Monogram Multicolore” and “Cherry Blossom” designs that first debuted in 2003, bringing a fresh perspective to these beloved patterns. Featuring over 200 new pieces, including bags, accessories, and footwear, the collection has been promoted through global pop-up activations and campaigns. Zendaya, the face of Louis Vuitton, stars in the campaign, showcasing the collection’s blend of artistic heritage and modern luxury.

Gaurav Gupta x Forevermark
Diamonds became the ultimate medium of self-expression on the runway as Forevermark unveiled its High Jewellery collection, paired with a sculptural bridal silhouette designed to mirror the fluidity and radiance of each piece. In a striking interplay of haute couture and the brilliance of diamond artistry, the exclusive preview showcased over 150 exceptional pieces from the brand’s new collection.
