Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio
A beloved childhood fable, Pinocchio has been re-made into several heart touching movies. The lastest interpretation is by Oscar-winning filmmaker Guillermo del Toro whoreimagines the classic tale as a stop motion animated musical fantasy. Unlike the previous versions, this film takes a darker spin on the Italian novel. Like the classic, the character of Pinnochio is made entirely out of wood, carved from a tree that grows over the grave of Gepetto’s the toymaker’s son. Longing for a second chance at being a father, Gepetto’s wish magically comes true when the wooden boy turns to life. The film features star-studded names such as Gregory Mann, Ewan McGregor, Tilda Swinton and Finn Wolfhard.

A classic for mystery enthusiasts, The National Treasure franchise comes to life with Jess Valenzuela, a brilliant and resourceful dreamer. And of course there is the works drama, where Emily must decide if her loyalty is towards Sylvie or Madeline.

This season will also confirm the polyamorous relationship between Aki, Audrey, and Max, who are trying to keep their truth away from GG’s missives. One thing we are most excited for, however, is the return of Georgina Sparks (Michelle Trachtenberg) returns to the scene, as she makes a big B&E-style entrance.
