With a strong presence across Japan, Canada, China, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, and India, KUURAKU has built its reputation on authentic Japanese flavours and warm hospitality. After seven successful outlets in India, Robata KUURAKU emerges as the group’s most ambitious eighth venture. Helmed by Japanese professionals, the concept promises an experience that is both genuine and engaging. The menu shines a spotlight on the refined art of Robata-style grilling, where ingredients are gently cooked over lava stones to preserve their natural essence. From seafood and meats to vegetables, the technique infuses a smoky depth and textural balance that resonates beautifully with the Indian palate.

Expect live counter seating, immersive interiors, and Mumbai’s largest sake bar with over 30 premium sakes curated by certified sommeliers.

Drinks come courtesy of award-winning mixologist Jishnu Some- Mango Chilli tequila cocktails and khus-infused Vetiver Gimlets. Rooted in memory and served with craft, The Black Shepherd in Bandra is Chef Rahul Kotak’s intimate 26-cover ode to authentic British cuisine: unapologetically un-Indianised, soulful yet refined. With signatures like golden Fish & Chips made from Asian seabass, slow-cooked Shepherd’s Pie, indulgent Jacket Potatoes, and brownies perfected over four years, the menu celebrates honesty and nostalgia in every bite. Bottomless hot chocolate, vintage rock ‘n’ roll soundtracks, red couches, and pub-like warmth, all blending seamlessly into Bandra’s cultural rhythm, making it less of a restaurant and more a love letter to Britain’s timeless pub culture, retold with Mumbai’s spirit.

Founded by Chef Rahul Punjabi, this is Mumbai’s first MaLa-forward concept spotlighting hand-pulled noodles made fresh to order- a rarity in the city. The Biang Biang Mien, wontons in slow-cooked broths, and a bold Chilli Oil Soft Serve define the menu. Interiors channel irreverence and grit, anchored by the brand’s fictional mascot Pai Mei.
